A whole world of projects:
- Justin and I are going to make another Valentine’s Day CD this year, last year it was a series of Magnetic Fields covers with our friends Pat and Josh. This year one idea we’re thinking about doing is a selection of Appalachian murder ballads, although there are several other contenders this is my clear favorite at the moment.
- I spent all day yesterday drawing up new designs for a series of glazed tile necklaces, that I’ll hopefully have posted before the week is over. Lots of nature illustrations, puns, and stuff influenced by old alchemy texts I’ve been reading.
- I’ve put off posting my new shirt design until this Holiday season is over. There just isn’t time enough in the day right now to deal with something new. This is the busiest month of the year for us and the last time I had a new shirt all we did for weeks was order, print, and walk to the post office.
- I start my new job in 5 days! Which means I’ll have a hell of a lot of alone time (well if you don’t take into account the babies who sleep most of the day). I’ve been toying with the idea of doing another new year challenge (two years ago I did a new DIY project everyday and it was really awesome/enriching). This time I’m thinking about reading 365 books in 2012. So I guess what I’m saying is email/message me lists of your favorite books so I can start compiling a “to read list”
