Because I am primarily focused on trying to add to my new and yet to be unleashed upon the internet blog, I feel like I only have small snippets of things to share with you guys, but small things can be good yeah?
- I’ve been researching how to wax my own canvas and cotton duck, so I can stitch up some heavy duty and waterproof aprons, bedrolls, and backpacks that don’t cost 300 plus dollars. Searching for what I want on google shopping left me feeling light headed from sticker shock, I just can’t do it. If anyone has extensive experience with this, advice and tips would be helpful?
- I need to make some new Philly friends, all my close friends here are wonderful and the best people but … the downside of having friends who are cool and well adjusted is that they are really busy, working on projects, and are often out of town. I need a friend or two to come craft, go on long walks, drink copious amounts coffee, and talk. You must like talking, sorry. In return I will cook you dinners often, pour you tall glasses of homemade ginger ale, and give you full access to my craft supply closet.
- I think I’m finally starting to adjust to my new work schedule, which means I should start making new things real soon. I want to step it up … more t-shirts and posters and prints. I want to have more to offer and on a larger scale but still keepin’ the prices low. Also, if you want some of my stuff and feel that you can’t afford it, please talk to me … I don’t want anyone to miss out!
- Justin and I are headed to the woods for the weekend, maybe to make baskets, definitely to eat lots of food and take hikes. I’ll post photos mid weekend or upon our return, depending on my whims.
