Anonymous asked: I was wondering what day to day sights/activities help you feel inspired? Do you find your surroundings affect your artwork? & Is there a craft you're currently inexperienced with that you'd love to give a try?
Um mostly just turning off the computer and going for a walk. I usually can’t get anything done if I’m also on the internet. I also work hard to spend time with friends who challenge me. Right now I have a friend I meet with once a week who is an accountability buddy, we set productivity goals for the following week and when we meet up again we workshop what we’ve made and talk about what worked/didn’t work for us. I think I tend to gravitate towards nature and literature as points of inspiration more so than the city, even though I like living here. Hmm I’d really like to learn how to spin my own yarn, there’s a spinning wheel here I just have to figure out how to use the darn thing.
